Azure: Representatives from all the spectrum and tendencies criticized the performance of Hemmati

Speaking to Mehr reporter, Zohreh Sadat Lajevardi said that the impeachment of the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance was due to severe economic problems, saying that the MPs clearly criticized the performance of the ministry at the impeachment meeting.

He noted: During the past six months, we have not only seen a move forward, but the trend of the devaluation of the national currency and the rise in the dollar was accelerated.

The representative of the people of Tehran in the Islamic Consultative Assembly stated: The expensive in the community was unprecedented and people were faced with a multiplier increase in commodity prices. This particularly influenced the basic needs of the people and their tablecloths were smaller.

Lajevardi emphasized: Therefore, there is no choice but to enter the parliament. On the other hand, this impeachment was by no means political and its reasons are quite clear; This confirms that representatives of all the spectrum and tendencies criticized the performance of Hemmati and all came to a common conclusion.

He said: “Hemmati's responses on the day of impeachment were not convincing and did not provide a plan to prevent expensive and devaluation of the national currency, and eventually, Hemmati was dismissed by four votes in favor.”
