The Bread Festival is an opportunity to showcase different cultures and strengthen empathy

Report Reporter SealSayed Mohammad Reza Mawalizadeh on Friday evening at the closing ceremony of the Bread Festival, referring to the place of bread in the culture and life of the people, said: “Bread is the dominant strength of the people and its quality plays an important role in the health of the community.”

He added: Khuzestan wheat is of high quality and quality and the flour and bread must be commensurate with these standards to ensure people's health.

The governor of Khuzestan stated that bread has a special sanctity in Iranian culture, emphasizing: Bread is divine blessings and its dignity has always been emphasized.

He also referred to the national registration of Ahvaz historical silo as one of the most valuable works in the province.

Mali Zadeh went on to point out the importance of attention to the food of the human soul and body and said: Along with bread, which is the food of the body, music and art are also the food of the human soul. Khuzestan, as one of the country's leading art centers, has many capacities to take advantage of it.

“This festival is an opportunity to showcase different cultures and enhance empathy and affection among ethnicities,” he said.

The governor of Khuzestan also emphasized the continuation and development of the event and said: “We hope that this festival will be held more glorious and richer year by year.”
