VIDEO: 5.5-magnitude quake hits Ecuador

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted 39 km WNW of Archidona, Ecuador at 23:02:29 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 0.82 degrees south latitude and 78.15 degrees west longitude.
