According to Mehr news agency, the fifth meeting of the National Pilgrimage Working Group was held under the initiative of Astan Quds Razavi, the International Deputy.

This meeting was attended by Vahid Jalalzadeh, Deputy Consul, Majlis and Iranians of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohammad Reza Qalandar Sharif, Mayor of Mashhad, Hojjatul Islam Taimur Ali Asgari, Cultural and Social Deputy of Khorasan Razavi Governor, Hojjatul Islamwal Muslimin Mustafa Faqih Esfandiari, International Vice President of Astan Quds Razavi and Seyed Javad. In this meeting, there was a discussion and exchange of views about the statistics of the system of international pilgrims' problems, the development of written programs in order to solve the system of pilgrims' problems, the proposal of holding regional meetings in holy Mashhad, etc.

Facilitating the presence of Iranians abroad in Mashhad and Razavi Shrine was one of the other matters that were emphasized in this meeting so that Razavi Shrine can be a refuge for all groups and religions, especially Iranians living abroad.

It should be said; One of the goals of the working group of Imam Reza (a.s.) is the discussion of pilgrimage diplomacy, which can be considered as one of the major goals at the national level in terms of public diplomacy.
