The national conference “Condemning the crimes of the Zionist regime” was held at Kurdistan University

According to Mehr reporter, the head of Kurdistan Province's Basij Organization of University Professors and Higher Education Centers said on Saturday evening in the conference titled “Gaza, Zionism and Crime, University and Resistance”, referring to the crimes committed by the Zionist regime against academicians in Gaza. A year ago, during these days, the universities of Gaza were destroyed, and the brutal attacks of the Zionist regime led to the martyrdom of 166 university professors and 88,000 students being deprived of their education.

Mohammad Mirzaei added: Violating the privacy of universities is considered an international crime, and today the professors and academics of the Islamic Republic of Iran stand by the academics of Gaza and support them.

He pointed out: Support for academics in Gaza should go further and be institutionalized in our universities.

The head of Basij organization of professors of universities and higher education centers of Kurdistan province reminded: Academics are pioneers in the fight against oppression and do not hesitate to make any effort to support the oppressed people of Palestine and Gaza.

Mirzaei pointed out: Today, the main nature of the liberal democracy system has been exposed, and the usurping regime and their supporters do not know that Hamas is in the hearts of the people and will soon suffer a great defeat.

He admitted: Universities of the Islamic Republic of Iran should provide scholarships to Palestinian students, because this leads to investing in the future of Palestine and strengthening the resistance.

At the end of the conference, while condemning the crimes of the Zionist regime, the participants called for legal follow-up of these crimes in international forums and support for the oppressed people of Palestine and Gaza.

The mentioned conference titled “Gaza, Zionism and Crime, University and Resistance” was held in the Ferdowsi Hall of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Kurdistan with the aim of condemning the crimes of the Zionist regime against the academics of Gaza.
