Itikaf ceremony will be held in 15 mosques in Ganaveh

According to Mehr reporter, Qasim Johari said at the meeting of General Culture Council of Ganaveh city on Saturday night with appreciation of Imam Juma's management and the cooperation of the governor and administrations and institutions in holding itikaf last year in Ganaveh city. This spiritual ritual is being implemented in the city.

The vice-chairman of the Council of Religious Boards of Ganaveh city added: In this regard, this year's retreat program has met with a rare welcome from young people and teenagers in the initial days of registration.

He said: So far, more than 170 people have registered to participate in the retreat, most of them are teenagers.

Johari stated: This year, the spiritual retreat program will be held in 15 mosques in the city, which has increased compared to last year.

He said: In order to hold this ceremony as grandly as possible, all the necessary facilities, including toilets, heating and cooling systems, drinking water and bathrooms have been provided in the organizing mosques.

The vice-chairman of the Council of Religious Boards of Ganaweh city said: More than 125 people, including security forces, police, emergency services, firemen, preachers, clerics and cultural servants, and the management of procurement and advertising of mosques, will directly participate in holding the Itikaf ceremony in the city.
