Magnitude 6.1 earthquake strikes Chile

An earthquake of magnitude 6.1 struck Antofagasta, Chile on Thursday, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.

The quake was at a depth of 104 km (64.62 miles), EMSC added.

There were no immediate reports of possible casualties.
