The President's vice president for science, technology and knowledge-based economy added: It is possible that the products presented by a knowledge-based company in a technological exhibition will have the title of knowledge-based this year and not the next year. When we talk about a knowledge-based company or a knowledge-based product, we are talking about a special technology that is in the hands of several people or several companies. For example, if several knowledge-based companies produce a common product, that other product is out of the knowledge base.

Afshin continued: Our view of knowledge-based companies should be such that a product may be knowledge-based in 1403, but 2 or 3 years later, it does not have any technological progress and is out of the category of knowledge-based.

Referring to the efforts of the Scientific Vice-Chancellor to continuously monitor knowledge-based companies, he said: According to the law, the knowledge-based approval of innovative knowledge-based companies and technological knowledge-based companies is evaluated periodically and every three years. So that knowledge moves and their research and development activities do not stop like stagnant water, we have planned a program to organize and promote them.

The President's Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy emphasized that if the knowledge-based companies cannot improve their level, their ranking will be lowered, and explained about this and said: Knowledge-based companies should know that Every year they have to improve their level and be updated. This year, companies that have been at level 1 of basic knowledge for 2 years and have not changed their product technology, were demoted to level 2. If these same companies do not change their conditions again next year, they will go to a lower level and eventually they will be excluded from the support of the Scientific Vice-Chancellor. Therefore, in the new evaluations, we may face the reduction of knowledge-based companies.

While pointing out that our message to the companies is that if they want the support of the scientific vice-chancellor to be permanent, they should make continuous progress, he noted: the program of the scientific vice-chancellor in the new era is to increase the quality of knowledge-based companies (products) to Their slight increase. When we talk about knowledge-based, we are talking about quality, not about quantity, and when we talk about knowledge-based economy, we mean that first of all, we should pay attention to the quality of products produced by companies and move on the edge of knowledge. Otherwise, that company will be removed from the list of knowledge-based companies.

It is also emphasized in another paragraph that the products provided by the companies must be in the field of superior technologies, in the sense that the technical knowledge of design and manufacturing or the technical knowledge of the product production process is higher than the average level of existing technologies in the country, and achieving it requires Conduct research and development by an expert technical team.
