The ability and operational readiness of border guards of Islamic Iran is at a very high level

According to Mehr news agency, Sardar Ahmed Ali Gudarzi on Tuesday visited the Selmas border regiment in North West Azarbaijan and added: Border guard forces also receive continuous training and skills, which are very effective in improving the readiness of border guards.

He added: In addition, there are good weapons, facilities and equipment in the country's border guard and good measures have been taken in this regard.

The commander of the border guard of the Islamic Republic of Iran continued: Our attention is more to the areas that need strengthening in various dimensions of weapons, equipment, electronic systems, optics, tiny bird I see And the types of weapons needed by the border guards.

Sardar Godarzi stated: Also, good actions have been taken in the field of improving the roads leading to the border bases, and the increasing improvement of these roads is on the agenda.

During this visit, Sardar Mohammad Ahmadi, the commander of the border guard of West Azerbaijan, said that due to the increasing efforts of the border guards, there is complete and stable security along the 967 km border.

West Azerbaijan has a 967 km border with Türkiye, northern Iraq and Nakhchivan, and 10 cities of this province have zero border points.
