7,000 cases were investigated in the Semnan Province Peace Courts

According to Mehr News Agency, Hojjatoleslam Mohammad Sadegh Akbari, referring to the performance of the Semnan Province Peace Courts from the beginning of August to the end of February 2008, said: Semnan province is one of the first provinces in the country to operate the laws of peace courts after the new law enforcement laws.

He further referred to the number of cases referred to the provincial peace courts from the beginning of August to the end of February of this year, adding that during the same period, the number of 2,800 cases has entered the provincial peace courts and referred to the provincial courts.

The Chief Justice of Semnan Province, referring to the closing of 1,600 cases in the same period of the aforementioned period in the branches of the provincial peace courts, said: The process of legal assignment of 1,800 cases is still in the process of jihadist efforts in these courts.

Akbari said the number of cases leading to compromise in the Provincial Dispute Resolution Branches as a result of the Peace Courts, adding: In the aforementioned period, 2,800 cases were resolved by resolving peace and reconciliation in these branches, indicating a 5 % success in peace and reconciliation.
