280 book titles were published in Lorestan

According to Mehr news agency, Hamid Guderzi Mehr, while visiting a printing unit in Lorestan, pointed out that since the beginning of this year, 18 applicants for publishing licenses in the province have applied to the printing and publishing unit of this general administration, and stated: So far, 11 licenses have been issued. It has been issued through the comprehensive publication system and the documents of the rest of the applicants are being reviewed.

Pointing out that currently 55 publishing licenses have been issued in the province, he said: This is a 33% increase compared to the same period last year.

The expert in charge of printing and publishing of the General Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Lorestan, referring to the 14% growth in book publishing and 24% growth in the number of books in Lorestan province in 9 months of 1403 compared to the same period last year, said: from the beginning of this year to the end of December 280 199 thousand 553 books have been published in different subjects in Farsi and local languages ​​in the province, while in this period of the previous year, 236 book titles have been published with 160 thousand 550. The version was published in the province.

Guderzi Mehr pointed out that 10 printing houses have been licensed in various digital and banner sectors since the beginning of this year and added that printing house licenses have increased by 14% compared to the same period last year.

Stating that 16 requests for setting up a printing house have been sent to the General Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance during this period, he said: the licensing procedures for the rest of the requests are being processed.

The expert in charge of printing and publishing of the General Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Lorestan, stating that since the beginning of this year, 350 billion rials have been invested in the equipment and installation of printing machines in the province by the private sector, he added: This investment will employ 20 people as operators. The printing machine was responsible for the technical office of the printing unit.

He said: Currently, there are 101 printing houses in Lorestan province, of which 28 are operating in Khorramabad and the rest in other cities of the province.
