2 killed and 2 wounded in a valley crash in southern Philippines

Ronnie Vilanova, responsible for reducing the risk of disasters and provincial management, said the incident occurred at about 9am local time when the bus was on the way to a military training camp.

Vilanova said a student died at the scene, while an elderly victim died in the local hospital. Other people suffered from various injuries.

Initial police investigations showed that the bus brakes were disrupted as they cross the road, causing it to throw it into the valley.

University students went to camp to participate in a program aimed at preparing them to serve in the armed forces in the event of emergencies as well as for reserve forces and potential officers.
