Iran's envoy to UN: US sanctions against Cuba must end immediately

Iran’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the UN Amir Saeid Iravani stated that the sanctions and inhumane blockade imposed on Cuba by the US for more than six decades and under the pretext of promoting democracy, was an example of the most unjust and long-lasting system of unilateral measures, and something no less than “military siege” which is prohibited in modern international law, and must come to an immediate and unconditional end.
